WHERE REAL ESTATE MEETS DESIGN
BATON ROUGE REALTOR® · residential STYLIST & planner
Styling to sell. Buying your next home. Designing to stay.
Hi, I’m Hope – wallpaper designer, floor plan critic, licensed real estate agent, and the person you call before you pick a paint color (or list your home).
Hi. I’m Hope.
I fell in love with creating spaces when I was barely strong enough to rearrange my own bedroom furniture (circa 1994).
I became a REALTOR® with a slightly unusual belief: Sometimes moving isn’t the move. Sometimes what you need is a bathroom addition or a floor plan that finally works. And sometimes the move is the move. Either way, I’ll tell you honestly which one you’re looking at.
When it’s time to sell, I don’t strip your home down to a white box. Buyers fall for homes with a story, and I stage for that and for your bottom line.
Whether you’re staying, listing, or searching, I bring a designer’s eye and an agent’s math to the same question: what’s the smartest next step for your home?

selling your home

Some homes are worth a little work before they hit the market. If you’ve got the time and budget to invest, I’ll help you prioritize what actually moves the needle – the updates buyers notice, the ones they don’t, and where a design-forward touch turns a showing into an offer. Top-tier marketing, real staging, no white boxes. This is how you get the highest number the market will pay.
-
Not every home needs a full overhaul to sell well – sometimes it just needs the right few things done well. I’ll help you identify the handful of updates that actually make a difference to buyers, so you can invest where it counts without overspending on things that won’t come back to you at the closing table.
-
Not every seller has the time, money, or interest to tackle a repair list before listing. That’s not a disadvantage. It’s a different strategy. I’ll help you price it right, market it honestly, and find the right buyer for exactly what you have.

BUYING your home
-
The agent in that sales office works for the builder, not you. Their fiduciary duty is to the builder’s bottom line. That’s not a criticism, just the structure. Knowing what to ask for and when to ask is where a buyer’s agent is beneficial. Knowing the sales and incentive calendar is key. Some of the best decisions don’t cost extra, they just require creative thinking.
-
While you look at homes for the first time, often with rose tinted glasses, I’ll be looking at the ways to protect you. From financing (and first time home buyer benefits) to negotiating after an inspection to a smooth closing and move-in day, I’ve got you like a big sister who’s done this a time or two.
-
You know what you want now – more space, better design, a home that actually fits how you live. This is your next season. I’ll help you find those “good bones,” with an eye for layout, finishes, and potential that comes from years in design and construction.

Moving to Baton Rouge from another city? I’ll be your local eyes – on neighborhoods, schools, commute patterns (don’t rely on Google Maps, trust me), and communities that fit your life. Buyers moving to new cities often are on a specific time line. We can work strategically for a smooth transition and move-in date.
